Neil Magny (18-4) and Hector Lombard (34-5) co-headlined UFC Fight Night 85 Saturday night in what was a doozy of a brawl.

After Lombard appeared on his way to an early win in Round 1, Magny bounced back to dominate the second round, taking his opponents back and landing blow after blow.

The referee didn't stop the fight despite Magny looking up at the official and tossing his hands in the air. After the fight, UFC officials shared the same concerns.

"We were a lot concerned," UFC exec Tom Wright said, via MMA Fighting. "I think [Magny] said it best. It's the referee's job, is to make sure that a fight is stopped, that the athlete can protect himself or herself. I'm sitting not quite as close as the referee was, but I thought that fight should've been stopped and it should've been stopped a long time before."

Following a public lashing from an exec, don't be surprised if we see a fight called a bit early as an expected overreaction.
