So much for Conor McGregor's reported left foot fracture following his UFC 202 win over Nate Diaz.
Less than a month later and "Notorious" has been cleared to fight Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title at UFC 205 in November from Madison Square Garden.
Per Dana White, McGregor will keep his featherweight title through UFC 205, giving him shot to hold two belts at once. First in history.

McGregor fought back-to-back bouts at 170 pounds against Nate Diaz, the first a submission loss and the second a decision victory. McGregor is also the featherweight champion after knocking out Jose Aldo in December of 2015.
He hasn't fought at 145 pounds since then, but is likely to move back down to defend his title after the bout with Alvarez.
McGregor (20-3) would be the first champion to hold belts in two weight divisions if he can knock off Alvarez (28-4).
Alvarez is on a three-fight win streak after winning decision victories over Gilbert Melendez and Anthony Pettit, and a TKO win over Rafael dos Anjos in the first round in July.
This will be McGregor's third fight in a different weight division in less than a year. He should face off against Aldo in a unification of the featherweight belt in his next fight.
This will be the first UFC card held in Madison Square Garden and in the state of New York.
