This might upset some fans of the UCLA football team.
UCLA head coach Jim Mora spoke of his hiring new offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch on Thursday, and Mora had some awkward comments on why he didn't hire a coordinator that runs the spread offense.
UCLA's Jim Mora: "I didn't really talk to anyone that runs a spread. As far as I know, spread teams have never won a national championship."

So Mora didn't want a spread offense since it doesn't win championships? Well, social media was quick to point out one big problem with that logic.

UCLA HC Jim Mora simply doesn't get it. We'll talk about his ridiculous comment on spread offenses next on @SiriusXMCollege 84.

What the hell would Jim Mora know about championships anyhow? Truth.

Yes Jim Mora, multiple teams have won a title with a spread offense. The fact that he either didn't know or refuses to acknowledge that is not a good look for him or UCLA.
