Deshaun Watson was a fantastic college football player and, if his first few games as a professional are to be believed, the former Clemson signal-caller will also be a tremendous player at the NFL level. With that in mind, Dabo Swinney and the Tigers will certainly be looking for "the next Deshaun Watson" and the program may have found him in Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence, who hails from Cartersville High School (Ga.), is committed to play for the Tigers and, in a bizarre twist, the youngster just broke Watson's Georgia high school football record for passing yards in a career.

247Sports brings word that Lawrence now has 13,077 yards passing in his high school career and, in addition, the talented prospect also sports a ridiculous 47-1 record as a starting quarterback at this level. Of course, it remains to be seen as to whether Lawrence can translate this kind of production to the college ranks, but passing Watson for any record that has to do with playing quarterback is pretty impressive.

The 6-foot-6, 208-pound quarterback may not arrive on Clemson's campus for a while now, but Trevor Lawrence has all the tools to become a transcendent college player and his production is absolutely off the charts.
