
Jean Delance, a former 4-star prospect, announced that he plans to transfer away from Texas and was granted his release on Tuesday. He took to Twitter to make the announcement:

Delance appeared in two games as a true freshman in 2016 entering as a reserve against UTEP and Iowa State. The 6-foot-5, 320-pound lineman has been taking reps at both tackle spots throughout preseason camp with the Longhorns.
Delance, a former Under Armour All-American, ranked as the No. 7 offensive tackle and No. 78 overall prospect for the 2016 national recruiting cycle according to Scout. He signed with Texas over offers from 25 other programs including LSU, Michigan and Oklahoma.
