Former NBA champion Tayshaun Prince has only been retired from the league for a year, but it looks like he's ready to get back in. He won't be back on the court as a player, but he is reportedly set to join the Memphis Grizzlies front office according to Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal.

The 37-year old Prince played for the Grizzlies from 2013 to 2015 and of course won his title with that special 2004 Detroit Pistons team that beat Kobe and the Lakers. He has earned high praise from current Grizzlies "grindfather" Tony Allen despite no front office experience.

"He's a good friend and a great locker room guy," Allen said of Prince, per Tillery. "He's a class A-1 guy. He knows how things are supposed to be run. He's a champion."

Prince last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2015-16 season.
