Taylor Swift will be performing at halftime during the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Jan. 8, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia, sources confirmed to Entertainment Tonight.
"She will headline a concert in Centennial Olympic Park during halftime of the game," the source says. "It will be a free concert. ESPN has her booked for the event and has a massive deal to release new music from [her upcoming album] Reputation through its college football coverage this season."
According to the source, Swift can't perform at the Super Bowl halftime show due to her endorsement deal with Coke, as the event is currently sponsored by Pepsi.
"Taylor's sponsors (UPS and AT&T) are two of the biggest NCAA Football advertisers on ESPN," the source notes.
The announcement isn't too much of a surprise considering how often Swift's new songs from her album Reputation were played during ESPN's Week 1 broadcasts of numerous college football games on Saturday, including a snippet of her next single, "...Ready For It?" She released the full song on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify the following morning.
Neither Swift's representatives or ESPN has officially confirmed ET's report at this time.
