Tony Romo is set to return at some point during the season, and while he is the highest paid player on the team, the Cowboys might have a better chance of winning with Prescott at quarterback. So what will coach Jason Garrett and owner Jerry Jones do once Romo returns?

Well, Dallas executive vice president Stephen Jones acknowledged the team is "going to need" Romo at some point this season.

"He's a class act, and he's a competitor," Jones said, via Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "He knows right now he is not ready to go. He wants this team to thrive and give us ever possible chance to win a championship. He knows when he's ready to go that, at some point, we are going to need him, and he'll be ready. It's a great situation."

Prescott will start this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, but it's unclear who will start the remainder of the season once Romo returns. It appears as if Prescott will remain the starter for the foreseeable future, especially if Romo isn't 100 percent healthy.
