Former Chicago Bears quarterback Tom Waddle accomplished something on First Take that very few people have been able to do in the past: he silenced Stephen A. Smith.

Smith and Waddle were debating whether Jay Cutler will be a starter in the NFL next season, and Smith tried to bring up an argument from 2010. Waddle then hit Smith with the "I actually played" comeback, and Smith had no response.
Waddle, who is the co-host of "Waddle and Silvy" on ESPN 1000 in Chicago, played for the Bears from 1989-1994. It's rare to see Stephen A. Smith shut down like that, but Waddle's comeback was perfect.
