This is disgusting & racist. Sad to see it take place in Richmond @ Short Pump Middle School. Those kids deserve to be expelled at the least pic.twitter.com/DEnOrntzY9

As you can see, it was pretty graphic and one of the captions on the videos read: "We're going to f**k the black outta these African children from Uganda."

letter from the Henrico County School Board in Virginia following the decision to forfeit the rest of Short Pump's season said "behavior of this type will not be tolerated in our schools. As noted in the HCPS Student Activities Contract, 'Participation in athletics and other student activities is a privilege and as such, requires that students adhere to certain rules.'"

However, practices have not been cancelled and will actually be used to teach some lessons. The board said that "a mandatory component of practices will be discussions that focus on reporting responsibilities, accountability, ethics, sexual harassment and racial tolerance."

This is certainly a good start to fixing some of the problems with those videos. This type of behavior should not be tolerated on any level. There hasn't been any reported talk of suspensions or expulsions.
