Just one game into the regular season, and Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III is already headed to injured reserve, with a designation to return, per the team:
"He is expected to miss an extended period of time during the 2016 season after medical tests on Sunday night and Monday morning revealed a fractured coracoid bone in his left shoulder. Although surgery is not required at this time, Griffin's left shoulder will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks."
The oft-injured Griffin took a hard hit along the sideline in the fourth quarter and was laid out before getting to his feet and returning to the game.
Griffin initially thought he'd be good to go for Week 2.

After injury-plagued years in Washington, the former Heisman winner thought he'd get off to a good start in his first year with Cleveland.
Griffin will miss at least the next eight games, and veteran Josh McCown is expected to take over the starting spot.
