It looks like a rumored candidate for the Houston and Oregon jobs will be opting to stay home.
ESPN's Brett McMurphy reported on Saturday afternoon that West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen had agreed to a five-year extension with the Mountaineers.

Holgorsen was rumored to be one of the early candidates for the Houston job, as Holgorsen was previously an offensive coordinator with the Cougars. After Tom Herman's departure to Texas, it was speculated that Holgorsen could make the job thanks the money that Houston would then be able to offer to a new head coach.
Holgorsen was also rumored to be a candidate for Oregon, but he was quickly passed by South Florida's Willie Taggart and Western Michigan's P.J. Fleck as candidates for that position.
In six seasons with West Virginia, Holgorsen has a 45-30 career record. He will have a chance to get a 46th win on Saturday, as the Mountaineers still have a game with Baylor left on their schedule.
