Solomon Tuliaupupu, a four-star linebacker prospect in the 2018 recruiting class, has announced his top three programs.
This, at least in a roundabout way, provides fans an idea as to what schools the prospect has on his finalist list.
Tuliaupupu stated to 247Sports that Notre Dame, USC and UCLA were his top three "as of right now."
Apparently, what the talented linebacker values isn't just about the immediate future.
"Definitely the alumni connection," he said. "USC has a great alumni connection, as well as Notre Dame and a school like UCLA in the middle of Westwood. That's a lot of big money over there. That's probably my main focus."
247Sports has Tuliaupupu ranked as the 89th best prospect in the entire 2018 class. Furthermore, the website claims him to be the third best linebacker talent and 12th greatest high school player in California.
It is clear that the linebacker is down to those three blue-blood football programs. Whether it ends up being Notre Dame, USC or UCLA remains to be seen at the time of this writing. That being said, it is likely that the fan bases of each of those programs will now keep a keen eye on the prospect's social media devices.
