Five-star forward Zion Williamson has his choices of schools as he can go just about anywhere. However, Kentucky.com spoke to some recruiting experts about where they believe he will land and it seems there's a clear answer. Experts from ESPN, 247Sports, Scout and Rivals weighed in on the likelihood of him heading to each his top five in Clemson, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas and South Carolina. Here was the end result:
The Wildcats were the clear No. 1 pick among the national experts. The majority of the top recruiting analysts put UK at the top of their lists, and none of the five had the Cats lower than No. 2, a great sign for John Calipari as he welcomes Williamson and his family to Lexington this weekend.
The 6-foot-6 small forward from Spartanburg, S.C. is ranked as the No. 2 overall recruit in the class of 2018 according to ESPN. He's also got offers from UCLA, UConn, Georgetown, Louisville and Maryland among plenty of others.
