For 15 seasons, on each and every Saturday morning in the fall, a Washington State Cougars flag has been seen in the background of ESPN's College GameDay. It's as consistent and legendary as the show itself. The only problem is the famous football crew has never been to Pullman, Washington for the nationally televised show, but that's about to change.

This weekend, at approximately 6 a.m. local time, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the star-studded cast will all be live on ESPN to hype up No. 25 Washington State against No. 12 Oregon like never before. There is so much buzz there already that the City of Pullman has declared an emergency to help deal with the massive crowd expected for College GameDay this weekend.

On Tuesday night, according Pullman Radio, the city council approved the declaration to allow Pullman Transit buses to help move fans around campus before the late afternoon game, which has been sold out.

WSU needs extra buses for its park and ride locations so that's why the university asked the city for help.

This is the first for the popular show, according to producer Chris "The Bear" Fallica, and you know the Coug fans are going to be out in full force on the corner of Stadium Way and Ferdinad's Lane by Martin Stadium and the Cougar Pride Statue.

This is awesome! The dedication to getting the flag to Gameday every week and now Gameday is coming to the flag! Let’s make this the biggest, wildest scene ever. See you this weekend! https://t.co/fOk5GmT1hC

Heck, even the Pullman Police have joined in on the fun.

Years later, @CollegeGameDay solicits the help of an incredibly skilled police agency to help track down #WSUPopcornGuy, because they simply can't bring the big show back to #ThePromisedLand without his help. #PullmanProud #GameDayPullman #GoCougs #AttemptToLocate #JustForFun pic.twitter.com/LVj9vgWBXm

Washington State has done it right so far, even putting the exact location fans can great the crew's famous bus as they enter Pullman.

This is complete madness, and it's getting crazier by the day. Just imagine what it's going to be like on Saturday.
