Police: High school football player killed over the most senseless disagreement

A 23-year-old boy, Fredrick Marshall, is scheduled to appear in court on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter after 19-year-old Deston Garrett was shot and later died the same day he was slated to graduate high school.

A 23-year-old boy, Fredrick Marshall, is scheduled to appear in court on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter after 19-year-old Deston Garrett was shot and later died the same day he was slated to graduate high school.

According to the LA Times, the two argued over a YouTube music video Garrett had posted when the high school student asked Garrett to leave. That's when Marshall reportedly shot Garrett and fled the scene.

Garrett was rushed to the hospital and died two days later.
