The Pittsburgh Steelers manhandled the Miami Dolphins in their Wild Card game Sunday afternoon, 30-12.
But the news emerging following the win dampened the high spirits in Pittsburgh:
Ben Roethlisberger wearing a walking boot after game. Injured foot on his last throw -- an interception -- when he had no business throwing.

It was the first game Ben Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown had appeared in as a trio, as one of the three has been banged up and missed time over the last handful of years.
Roethlisberger has vowed to play next week against the Kansas City Chiefs, but it's pretty much a disaster scenario that mimics the Oakland Raiders situation of Derek Carr, who was injured in the closing minutes of a blowout earlier this season:
Is Mike Tomlin aware of what happened to Derek Carr, and what subsequently happened to the Raiders? Why are Ben, Brown and Bell still in?

Ben will play next week, I don't know how impacted he'll be, but this is why continuing to play your stars in games that are over is idiotic

Roethlisberger has played through a slew of injuries over his career, so this one should be just fine. It still doesn't make what head coach Mike Tomlin did ok by any means.
