Phil Steele blogged his "Power Poll" earlier on Thursday, but he also made an appearance on ESPN's College Football Live to predict what the final College Football Playoff poll would show at the end of the season. The two polls are quite different, as the latter factors in Steele's opinion, while the former was made out of computer polls.

Some differences from Steele's Power Poll: USC is a spot above Alabama here, although the top four does not change with regards to which teams would make the Playoff. This would also give us a rematch of last year's semifinal where No. 4 Ohio State beat No. 1 Alabama to advance to the national title game.

Oregon also took a big hit, ranking No. 6 in Steele's Power Poll, but dropping to No. 11 in the CFP prediction. This tells us that Steele is a lot less confident in the Ducks after losing Marcus Mariota than the computer rankings are.

For the College Football Playoff this season, the semifinals will take place on December 31 in the Orange Bowl and the Cotton Bowl. The national title game will be in Glendale, AZ on January 11.
