Paul Finebaum was recently on ESPN and was asked about who he thought would make the National Championship Game and who he would like to see it in it. He not only gave an epic rematch from the 2014 College Football Playoff featuring Alabama and Ohio State, but said that it would be a game that would "define college football."
Ohio State won that meeting 42-35, but Alabama has managed to make it back to two title games since then, winning one of them. The Crimson Tide have won the other three contests the two teams have competed in with the last one coming in 1995 when Gene Stallings was head coach of the Tide and John Cooper was the head man for the Buckeyes.
