Defensive back Patrick Surtain Jr. (6-foot-2, 181 pounds, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) is currently ranked as the No. 4 overall recruit in the nation, as it looks like the top teams in his recruitment are really starting to emerge.
LSU and Florida State have long been seen as the leaders for Surtain Jr., but in an interview with Luke Stampini of 247Sports, Surtain Jr. clarified that those two aren't the only schools that are at the top of his recruitment.
"Everybody has been saying Florida State and LSU, but you know it's still kind of changing a little bit," Surtain Jr. said to 247. "Alabama is sort of in there as well too, and Ohio State, Clemson, those schools."
LSU is currently seen as the leader, as they hold the vast majority of Surtain Jr.'s predictions in the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
Surtain Jr. is rated as a five-star recruit. He is the son of former three-time Pro Bowl corner back Patrick Surtain.
