Aside from the offensive line, the Watt brothers and running back positions, the Wisconsin Badgers aren't exactly known for recruiting prowess on a national scale. The program is one of the best in the Big Ten but, in terms of pure talent, there are many across the country that consistently land more accomplished prospects out of the high school ranks.
To that end, Wisconsin now finds itself in something of a recruiting scandal, albeit a mild one. Three-star quarterback Ben Bryant, who committed to the Badgers on Dec. 7, tweeted a seemingly innocuous reference to receiving an offer from the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday.

However, it appears that Wisconsin did not take kindly to this public display, as Benjamin Worgull of Rivals brings word from Bryant that the Badgers pulled his offer.
"I got a call this morning from Wisconsin saying that there's no longer a spot for me there because I posted that I got another offer. Very disappointed."
It should be noted that this is only one side of the story but the 6'3, 185-pound quarterback from Lyons Township (Ill.) is now left without the plan that he made for college. More information could easily surface with regard to this issue but, for now, we know that Ben Bryant is no longer a Wisconsin commit because he doesn't have a scholarship to commit to.
