At the beginning of the offseason most analysts and mock draft experts had Dalvin Cook as the second-best running or even the best running back in this particular class. However, opinions have changed since then and Cook has seen his stock drop from a likely top-10 pick to some people even dropping him into the second round.

However, most mock drafts still have him in the first round. He's just in the bottom half of it with a lot of people thinking that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take him at pick No. 19. While plenty of Florida State fans would love that since it would be a short drive to see him for home games, Bucs GM Jason Licht isn't making any guarantees.

There was a similar situation when Florida's Tim Tebow was entering the draft as the Jags could have landed him and it would have boosted ticket sales immediately, but they chose against drafting him and have still not sniffed the playoffs since 2007. Granted, Cook is a much more guaranteed and solid product than Tebow was but it seems like a perfect opportunity for the Bucs to address a need and gain some extra fans in the area.
