It's been a rough couple of weeks for Ole Miss. Following all of the controversy with Hugh Freeze, Houston Nutt and NCAA investigations, two Ole Miss players defensive back Ken Webster and linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes have now been arrested on allegations of shoplifting.

Following all of the controversy with Hugh Freeze, Houston Nutt and NCAA investigations, two Ole Miss players — defensive back Ken Webster and linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes — have now been arrested on allegations of shoplifting.

Lafayette Co. Detention Center booking docket confirms Ole Miss' Ken Webster and Detric Bing-Dukes were arrested for shoplifting Tuesday.

While no punishments have been announced, potential suspensions could leave Ole Miss in even a rougher spot than they are already in. Both Webster and Bing-Dukes are important players on the Ole Miss defense, as both were expected to be starters for the upcoming season. Bing-Dukes started several games last season and recorded 41 total tackles, while Webster started the entire 2015 season and was a starter for 2016 before getting injured in the season opener.
