Despite an old quote, Cardale Jones has accomplished something that might surprise some haters

Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones gained some media attention during his time with the Buckeyes when he once quipped that he wasn't there to play school. Well, it looks like Jones' school playing days are officially over, as he is set to graduate from Ohio State this weekend.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, Jones only had to complete two more classes to get his degree in Sociology. After his rookie year in the NFL, Jones returned to Ohio State for the spring semester to complete those requirements.

After leading Ohio State to a College Football Playoff victory in the 2014-15 season, Jones was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. Jones only played in one game during the 2016 season, going 6-for-11 passing for 96 yards.

Congratulations to Cardale and the rest of the college students that are receiving their diplomas this weekend.
