Stringfellow was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in January 2015 while attending Ole Miss after transferring from Washington, per Clarion Ledger. He also had a reported incident while at Washington where he reportedly punched a Seattle Seahawks fan. Stringfellow pled guilty to fourth-degree assault, per the Seattle Times.

Early draft scouts on Stringfellow had the wideout translating to a player similar to Laquon Treadwell, per CBS:

"Similar to Treadwell, Stringfellow is a good-sized athlete with the height, length and build to box-out defenders and control the catch point. He is a strong leaper and attacks the ball with his hands, using flexible body control and tracking skills to high-point the ball. Stringfellow isn't a track star by any means, but he accelerates well off the line to quickly get into his route with athletic twitch and movements.

Stringfellow requires polish and tempo as a route runner, often rounding his patterns and tipping his path to defenders."

Stringfellow caught 46 passes for 716 yards and six touchdowns as a junior. The 6'2", 219-pound receiver was originally projected as a mid-round pick, but his stock has drastically shifted to now CBS projecting him as a 7th-round pick or undrafted.
