The commitment wasn't a complete shocker, as Michigan had taken a massive lead for Muhammad over the past few months. On the day of his commitment, Michigan held all 26 of the predictions over at 247Sports' Crystal Ball.
Muhammad is the No. 5 tight end of the 2018 class according to the 247Sports Composite. With his commitment to Michigan, Muhammad becomes the 15th member of the Wolverines' 2018 recruiting class.
