The Michigan Wolverines and the good folks at Nike/Jordan began a lucrative partnership on Aug. 1, but even in the midst of a massive apparel release, the school's football uniforms were hidden behind lock and key. On Tuesday, however, the jerseys that the Wolverines will be wearing in 2016 were revealed and, unsurprisingly, the fan base went crazy with delight.
First, the scene was set with a video stream of various Michigan highlights from past seasons.

Then, the set for the unveiling was revealed and it was spectacular.

Of course, Jim Harbaugh was on hand for the extravaganza.

For good measure, the players in attendance also put forth something of a sneak preview (maybe?!) of new Michigan-themed training shoes that could be on the way from Jordan:

Make no mistake, holding the uniform unveiling for an additional day was yet another intentional move from Harbaugh, Michigan and the Nike/Jordan representatives in holding the attention of the national college football audience. Yet again, it worked beautifully, and the Wolverines dominated the midday discussion on a Tuesday in early August without doing a single thing on the football field.
There is a college football team set to wear the Jumpman logo in actual game action this season, and that alone is intriguing. Throw in Jim Harbaugh and a potential national championship contender?
Buckle up.
