Louisville has been dealing with the fallout of the escort scandal that rocked the school last year. It has even gone so far as to ban two former players from the facilities according to a report from Jeff Greer of the Courier-Journal. Both of the players are reportedly members of the 2013 National Championship team.

From Greer's report:

A source with knowledge of the situation and who could not speak publicly about it said Harrell has been disassociated from the program after his refusal to meet with NCAA investigators during the infractions inquiry into U of L's men's basketball program.

Behanan, the starting power forward on U of L's 2013 title team, told the Courier-Journal that he, too, was not allowed to play on campus at the Cards' facility.

Behanan indicated he may have been disassociated, too.

The escort scandal reportedly included women giving lap dances and other "favors" to recruits and their fathers. While it hasn't been confirmed those two were involved, the move to disassociate from them doesn't exactly scream innocent either.

Excommunication or disassociation is commonly used by schools to protect against players and individuals who might put the school at risk. It doesn't necessarily indicate wrongdoing, but it doesn't look great for the school either.
