Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson is having an electric season as his team's lone bright spot, but a gruesome leg injury against the Los Angeles Rams has changed his entire afternoon.
Johnson took the pitch left and was rolled over on his left leg.
He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but had to be carted to the locker room.
Johnson rushed for 1,233 yards and 16 touchdowns over 15 starts this season in a breakout year. He also had 77 receptions for 841 yards and four touchdowns as one of the best all-purpose backs in the NFL.
Hopefully he'll be ok.
