Florida State Seminoles talents Kyle Meyers and Zaquandre White have a court date set following a marijuana complaint filed against them.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Meyers and White were spotted by the Tallahassee Police Department parking multiple times in a gravel lot. This inevitably resulted in police approaching the car only to see White smoking marijuana.
In the report, it appears Meyer wasn't attempting to deny much of anything with the police. The defensive back told police that he and the running back smoke marijuana together "occasionally but not often."
Apparently, the duo did admit to trying to hide the joint by placing it in a Gatorade bottle when they saw the cops approaching the vehicle.
It was also said that Meyers was cooperative, but that White denied that it was weed despite the substance in the Gatorade bottle testing positive for it. He claimed it was a regular cigarette.
At the time of this writing, White faces complaints of possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis and possession of narcotic equipment. Meyers faces a complaint of possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis, but is not dealing with the possession charge.
A former four-star prospect, White redshirted last season. Meyers started in two games for the Seminoles.
They are set to appear in court on Feb. 22.
