As you may expect for an accomplished starting quarterback hitting the free market, there are bound to be suitors lining up for Cousins' services and, by proxy, the former Michigan State signal-caller is in line for a potentially massive payday.

In advance of the derby heating up, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network appeared on television and, within his stint, he revealed three teams that could enter the mix in aggressive fashion.

Rapoport places the New York Jets and Denver Broncos at the top of the heap, with the Arizona Cardinals certainly displaying a need for quarterback help and a potential willingness to enter the ring. On all three fronts, Cousins makes some level of sense.

The Jets violently overachieved in 2017 when compared to their overall talent level and, even if Cousins would not fix all that ills the roster, he would be an upgrade. As for Denver, the Broncos bottomed out based largely on poor quarterback play in 2017 and John Elway is always willing to throw his weight around at the position. Finally, the Cardinals have a new regime in place and, with Carson Palmer retiring, there is a gaping hole to be filled in the near future.

Cousins could certainly land elsewhere but, for now, it fits the bill to consider him in all three of these situations.
