Nick Saban is famous for never being satisfied, even in the midst of Alabama blowing out opponents on a regular basis. The Crimson Tide have clearly benefitted from that attitude from their head coach and, in that mold, former Alabama defensive coordinator and current Georgia head coach Kirby Smart seems to be following in his former boss's footsteps.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs rolled all over the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville and, with a 31-point lead in the fourth quarter, starting quarterback Jake Fromm got out of bounds a yard short of the first down marker. While some would undoubtedly argue that Fromm made the smart play, Smart didn't see it that way and let his signal-caller know about it with haste and fury.

Fromm catching an earful here was clearly intentional from the head coach and this can help to set a tone for the rest of the team. Still, it is definitely jarring to see this level of intensity and anger with a massive lead in a conference game and that has to be noted.
In the long run, Jake Fromm will probably be better as a result of tough coaching and the rest of the Georgia team is on notice.
