"Florida State is a place full of energy," Young told 247Sports. "They are a family who moves like a pack. "Coaching staff showed true interest in not only me, but also made sure my family felt like family."
The Vols were the first Power-5 conference team to offer Young a scholarship last month near the end of his official visit. Several other programs had since shown interest in him, including Florida State, who hosted him on an official visit last weekend.
Young ranks as the No. 65 wide receiver and No. 370 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking.
