Ultimately, Saturday afternoon did not end well for the Michigan Wolverines, as they faltered down the stretch before dropping a 30-27 decision to the Ohio State Buckeyes in double overtime. Prior to the conclusion of the overtime epic, though, Jim Harbaugh put on a sideline show in a way that only he can.
With Michigan leading 17-7 in the third quarter, Wilton Speight uncorked a costly interception, setting up the Buckeyes in the red zone for what would become a quick touchdown. Prior to that play, however, the Wolverines were called for an offensive facemask penalty that negated a long gain, and Harbaugh was incensed on the sideline when it came to the implementation of that particular call.
The eruption that the head coach put forth is shown above and, for good measure, Harbaugh was flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that provided Ohio State with additional yardage on the way to the end zone. In retrospect, the penalty itself (which ended up being only five yards because of where the ball was located) was not the biggest reason for the Ohio State score, but Harbaugh's reaction was entertaining and worthy of mocking consideration he broke his headset and cost Michigan yardage on the field.
