Ice Cube's Big 3 basketball league is off to a rough start with injuries to two major stars

Ice Cube's Big 3 basketball league launched Sunday with much fanfare. Despite it's apparent success, it was also a painful day for a couple of its stars because Jason Williams and Corey Maggette went down with leg injuries.

Despite the injuries, the Big 3 debut at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn — home of the Brooklyn Nets — can only be described as a success. Check out the attendance numbers:

Yikes is right. You can watch the games 8 p.m. Monday night on FS1, and the league plays for a total of 10 weeks this summer.
