Four-star cornerback Isaiah Rutherford has quite a few offers to play his football at the collegiate level. However, he has some history with Oklahoma and California as his uncle played at the former and his dad played at the latter. Only one of them is being described as working on Rutherford the hardest though.

He told 247Sports that California is working on him the hardest right now.

"My dad played there (under Keith Gilbertson) and I've spent my life growing up around Cal football," said Rutherford. "Now, him seeing me go through my recruitment and Cal being involved, it's exciting for both of us. Cal is definitely up there at the top of my list. I love that school.

"I would say Cal is on me the hardest. They probably talk to me every day."

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback out of Carmichael, Calif. is the No. 27 recruit at his position and No. 35 recruit in the state according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He also has offers from Alabama, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, USC and Tennessee among others.
