This play from a high school football game in Akron, Ohio should win an award of some type.
You're seeing that correctly. Senior linebacker Jack Griffith of Archbishop Hoban scored a touchdown after a catching a punt that was deflected off a lineman's backside.

The play came in the first quarter. Archbishop ended up winning 49-0 in the season opener against Canton McKinley.
"My teammates filled the gaps and the ball took a lucky bounce," Griffith said via Cleveland.com. "I was just thinking 'Please outrun the punter.'"
We all could use more butt punts in our lives, couldn't we?
Thank you for this, Jack Griffith.
