A lot of golfers talk about catching "the bug" and becoming so enamored with the sport that nothing in the world could keep them away from it.

This guy certainly qualifies. And that's just based on being dedicated enough to venture out onto a frozen body of water to hit a golf ball. Never mind that just playing golf in freezing temperatures is kinda dumb.

We don't know the circumstances that led to this guy actually having to hit a shot from a frozen lake, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt and, because he seems to have opted against taking a drop, call him the most honorable golfer to ever play the game.

That sounds a lot better than the most dim-witted.
