The Florida State Seminoles have already lost one of their top defensive recruits in the 2016 class in defensive tackle Shavar Manuel. He was academically ineligible to enroll at the university and headed off to JUCO where he will likely stay for a year and a half or two years.

It looks like there will be another player from the class joining Manuel in the JUCO ranks as linebacker Keion Joyner will enroll at Fort Scott Community College because of academic ineligibility. Joyner had an odd recruitment with the Noles as he signed with Florida State having never visited. He then signed his letter of intent with FSU in February, but did not take his official visit until the end of March.
The 6'3", 200-pound LB was the No. 14 recruit at his position and No. 10 in the state of North Carolina.
