He is one of the smallest recruits out there, but that hasn't stopped him yet; don't expect it to stop him at the next level.
On Friday, four-star wide receiver K.J. Hamler (5-foot-9, 156 pounds, Bradenton, Fla.) announced his commitment to Penn State, picking the Nittany Lions over Oregon and Michigan State.

Hamler's key attribute is his speed, as he has a verified 4.43 time on the 40-yard dash on record. Usually you would expect a guy like that to head west to Oregon, but it looks like an impressive showing by Penn State — the Big Ten champs — this season convinced Hamler otherwise.
Penn State now has 16 commitments in their 2017 class, including pledges from seven four-star recruits.
