Calvin previously committed to Oregon State in a ceremony on national television, but he decommitted just a week later, and later announced a commitment to Nebraska. However, it looks like Mike Leach and the Cougars have won out and locked down's Calvin's commitment for good.

Calvin is an enormous get for Washington State, as he is now their top rated recruit for the 2017 class. Overall, that class has 25 recruits and is rated No. 43 in the nation by 247Sports.
