You don't usually see this team getting four-star recruits in back-to-back days.
After landing four-star offensive tackle Devonte Gordon on Sunday, Wake Forest then picked up the commitment of four-star 2019 quarterback Brendon Clark on Monday. Clark's high school made the announcement on Twitter.

Clark is Wake's first commitment for the 2019 class.
While it's still early, this is another good sign for the Wake Forest program under Dave Clawsen. After going 3-9 in his first two seasons with the school, Clawsen took Wake to their first bowl since 2012, which was a 34-26 win over No. 23 Temple in the Military Bowl. Wake could be on a similar path for another bowl game this year, as they are returning 15 starters from that team.
