Four-star quarterback Bailey Hockman (6-foot-2, 192 pounds, Powder Springs, Ga.) was considering a sure-fire Georgia Bulldog for a long time. However, Hockman decommitted from the Bulldogs in December after they parted ways with Mark Richt, and it looks like the quarterback has finally found a new home.

It's a big pickup for Florida State and head coach Jimbo Fisher, as Hockman is rated as the No. 7 pro-style passer in the 2017 class. Hockman becomes the eighth commitment for Florida State in 2017, a class that is ranked in the Top 5 according to 247Sports.
Hockman was also considering Alabama, North Carolina, and yes, the now Kirby Smart led Bulldogs.
