According to the Wrestling Observer, former WCW and WWE performer Buddy Wayne — real name Steve Finley — has passed away at 50 after a sudden heart attack.

Wayne performed as an enhancement talent for both WCW and WWE in the 1990s, where he had matches against stars like Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, Bam Bam Bigelow and Edge.

Wayne, who had a career in pro wrestling spanning over two decades, had been retired for some time, and he was running his own wrestling school out of Seattle. The Observer notes that he had some heart problems in the past, but that he was considered healthy prior to the sudden heart attack.

We send our thoughts and prayers to his friends and family in this difficult time.
