The saga of former five-star defensive lineman Gerald Willis continues on as the former Florida transfer has made yet another decision on his future. Earlier this summer he took a leave of absence from Miami and coach Mark Richt announced that he would not be with the team for this upcoming season.
It appears that Willis might be making a comeback though as Canes InSight is reporting that Willis is back on campus and taking classes. However, he will still not play this season. He could rejoin the team in January though and will have one more year of eligibility left.
He's also been at school long enough to go to the NFL Draft if he finds that he's in the shape to do so and gets good feedback on that potential move. However, he would likely be a starter for the Hurricanes should he stay and play out his last year of eligibility.
