No. 12 Florida State (4-0, 2-0) takes on Miami (3-1) this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. in an ACC cross-divisional game that has major historical significance. The FSU-Miami rivalry used to be one of the most heated and exciting in all of college football. Thanks to the Miami football program's decline after the early 2000s though, the rivalry has lost a little bit of its luster.
That doesn't mean it isn't still a rivalry though — as of Wednesday of game week, folks on Twitter spotted the Florida State student bookstore selling shirts that read "Keep Al Golden." Golden has lost all four meetings in the series.
