Collins' rating is mixed across the recruiting services, but he is a five-star according to Rivals.com. The 247Sports Composite has him as a high four-star. The Composite also has him ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the state of Alabama for the 2017 recruiting cycle.

According to Collins himself, Michigan is the current leader in his recruitment. "They've always been the leader," Collins said.
It would obviously be a huge get for Michigan, but it is not like the rest of the Top 5 here are recruiting lightweights. This could become one of the more intense recruiting battles of the year, as Jim Harbaugh, Kirby Smart, Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, and Dabo Swinney all battle it out for the services of one of the top wideouts in the nation.
