Herron thanked the Lord and a bevy of people including his trainers, coaches and family that helped him make this decision so early in the recruiting process. The class of 2019 WDE and Kentucky's top recruit is headed out of state to help out Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines in their quest to win a Big Ten and national title.

The near 6'4" and 235-pound defensive end is ranked as the No. 4 player at his position and No. 34 overall recruit in the country according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Ohio State, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Georgia and Louisville among others.
