Simmons was also considering SEC West rivals Alabama and Ole Miss, but eventually decided on the Bulldogs. With the signed Letter of Intent, Simmons easily becomes the highest rated player for Mississippi State in the 2016 class; at 247Sports, he is ranked as the No. 19 overall recruit in the nation.
