Dallas may have won 17-15 over Minnesota Thursday night with the help of some shoddy officiating, but that's hardly enough to stop Jerry Jones from criticizing how the game was called.
The Cowboys owner still came down pretty hard on the refs, despite his side being handed the windfall of the season on that missed hands to the face penalty late in the 4th quarter.
"They were inconsistent with their calls and that was frustrating, " Jones told 105.3 The Fan per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "...You look back on it, our big plays that we did make that counted they kept out on the field. That was the difference."
The Cowboys were penalized 10 times for 78 yards to eight penalties for 57 yards by the Vikings. But none was more game-changing, and perhaps playoff picture-changing, than the one involving Dallas defensive tackle Cedric Thornton's hit on Sam Bradford.

Thornton clearly pawed at Bradford's facemask on a potential game-tying two-point conversion attempt in the game's waning seconds, and the refs missed it.
But as Jones pointed out, the refs also overlooked an illegal use of hands call on Orlando Scandrick that negated an Anthony Hitches interception.
"I thought what was obscene was the Scandrick hands to the face that caused that moving of the chains there," Jones continued. "You just can't have those penalties offset your big plays."
